至少它让我领悟。。
至少它让我有动力。。

June 27 Music from Animation Music from Animation by Artsylum Quartet 27 JUN 2009, SAT 5.15pm Esplanade Concourse Artsylum Quartet has been playing together since
their debut performance at the Singapore Chamber Music Festival in 2005
and has been under the tutelage of Mr Leslie Tan of the T'ang Quartet
ever since. Committed to increasing the accessibility of quartet music,
Artsylum goes beyond classical quartet works to include among others,
jazz, film music, opera classics, popular favourites and Chinese oldies
in their repertoire. They have previously collaborated with local
pop/rock duo Jack and Rai, NTU media studies students in a tango music
video, as well as other budding local composers premiering their
chamber music compositions. Artsylum Quartet remains passionate about
exploring the various possibilities of the classical quartet genre and
looks forward to infecting others with the excitement of quartet music.

The first song is Mission Impossible, which reminds me of what Kah Hwee sung over the lunch that makes me laugh throughout the song. I felt so bad towards the performers. I'm sorry!

UpBeat is the open category champion of the Singapore A Cappella Championship 2004 and performed at the local A Cappella Festival concert in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Upbeat’s performance experience include showcases at national, charity and corporate events as well as carolling at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, among other venues. Upbeat sold out both its Esplanade Recital Studio concerts in '05 and '07.

June 22 有音乐的地方就有人。。Arts Sphere Chamber Ensemble featuring Stringanza Unwind with all time movie favourites such as Moon River, James Bond as well as recent mandarin hits like Jay Chou’s Ju Hua Tai performed by Stringanza. The quartet will be playing a spectrum of household melodies from films, all originally re-arranged for this quartet presentation with a unique ethnic edge. Stringanza is group of Chinese strings instrumentalists bonded with the ideal of creating a whole new genre of music. The group name ‘Stringanza’ is a combination of the words strings and extravaganza, which collectively represents their instruments and the boundless freedom of their music. With Kwuan Boon, Wei Lin and Kok Jun on the huqins and Vincent on the cello, this lively quartet seeks to bring out familiar tunes in an exciting new perspective. Repertoire: I went with Jin Jun after work. Well.. Miss 2 songs.. When I am back to check on the above list, I guess some of the songs will be play at second session.. Miss more songs.. Paul and I left office at 7pm. He is meeting his friends at AMK for a movie at 7:30pm. Well.. It is really an underestimate timing. So he decided to take a cab to AMK. So I just hopped in. Thanks for the ride!! hehe.. I went to do some window shopping. Finally, I saw a bag that I like, but I do not like the texture. As I walked around, I saw Jimmy's Turn Left Turn Right's music box. Set off early to tuition so that can go to Vivo City early to exchange MayDay's concert tickets. However, JX lost the voucher that I printed for him, and I did not bring the extra copy, so ended up watching "Night in the Museum 2". Each time I saw a video related to piano, there is somehow a urge for me to start picking up piano. There is a promise for the piano that I made, someday I will owe one and start my piano class again. I remember the first time I heard this song is at the pub with SuSee, Amanda and Jia Jin.

Angels and Demons is really a nice movie. It did not disappoint me. I remember the first time I watched Da Vinci Code, I like the story plot. It is really a mystery-thriller movie. A man with knowledge is really worth admiring.
May 14 Good News..I was surprized that I received an email from my senior, Kian Ann. He is my TP senior and my NUS course-mate. Congratz!! He is getting ROM in 3 months' time and "traditionally" married in 2011. Really feel happy for him!! |
